DESCRIPTION:Party planners unite.  Come help the Fellowship Committee get things set for the upcoming party\, which will include special entertainment from Mark Alan Wade\, who is a National Dulcimer Champion. \nMark performs in orchestra halls and music festivals with a style that mixes classical precision and raw\, traditional\nAmerican. Classically trained as a trumpeter with master’s and doctorate degrees in music from The Ohio State University\, his unique style emerged as the technique and discipline of his formal training.  His performances bring world music to life and revitalize familiar classical pieces on hammered dulcimer. \nSome of his recent accomplishments include: \n\n2013—Featured performer at the World\nCymbalom Congress in Taipei\, Taiwan\n2014—Trumpeter with an orchestra that  played on the very stages where\nBeethoven and Haydn performed near Vienna\, Austria.\nRecently he premiered his Irish hymn suite for hammered dulcimer and orchestra\,  Streams of Mercy with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic Orchestra and\, Good King Wenny with the Central Ohio Symphony Orchestra.\nHe also is a founding member of the wildly successful QuaranTUNE Dulcimer Festival.\n\n
