As we prepare to commemorate this Memorial Day, we are stricken by the loss of those not old enough to serve. This nation, this church, once again, mourns the loss of children killed in classrooms by a single gunman. We pray for the families of those who must bury the dreams they had for their children. We pray for the leaders of the school, who thought they did everything possible to safeguard those young treasures, and now wonder if they could have, should have done more. We pray for those who must decide, what do we do next?
