“Instead the focus of this passage centers on the reality that through God’s love, God is already working to create the day when God will gather us together once again. Therefore it is the work of the Church to actively participate with God in the hope that is neither precluded nor hindered by the power of any kind of debt. Because through the power of God, we have hope for new life beyond the death of old, white, male, straight privilege.”
